Growing up in a family of eight children, Gregory Dale was exposed from an early age to the dynamics and challenges of negotiation and compromise.
Gregory has over 35 years experience of helping families, couples and individuals navigate personal, professional, and mental health challenges, establishing his own psychology practice in Wodonga in 2001. He is a trained Mediator and has assisted many individuals, groups and organisations to resolve conflict and establish improved communication styles.
He developed a growing interest in the area of farm succession after participating in a farm succession process that led to the establishment of his own family's farm in 2000. Through his psychology practice, he would also often become aware of the negative impacts of a poorly executed farm succession process. He became motivated to take a proactive approach and offer support to people as they attempt to navigate the farm succession process.
From 2024, the primary focus of Mediating Works is working to support people through the farm succession process. Gregory believes there are far better outcomes for all involved when there is a focus on strengthening relationships alongside the negotiation of intergenerational farm transition.
