As a Registered Psychologist, Gregory brings his many years of experience counselling couples and families, helping individuals navigate mental health challenges, and helping disputing colleagues smooth the path for clearer communication and better working conditions. This experience is invaluable to farming families who hold various experiences, viewpoints and interests as they transition the farming asset to the next generation. Gregory understands that maintaining good relationships is integral to getting to a solution that works for everyone. 

As a trained mediator Gregory uses a respected and documented method, the Seven Elements approach out of Harvard University. This applies a clear objectivity to a situation that is very subjective to all parties involved. Gregory explains the method and process to individuals, and again in a group setting. The process allows for all the issues to come up, and be worked through, in a systematic manner. 

As a farmer Gregory understands the many moving parts of farm life - the business side; the family and social side; the bushfires, droughts and floods; the highs and the lows. Gregory has lived and worked in regional Victoria for most of his life and so can relate to other country folk!

Gregory has been a participant in the farm succession process himself, when he and his wife took on the extended family farm. This process included a large country farming family made up of many siblings, who all had different viewpoints. Gregory learnt first hand the value of good facilitation, good process, and open and clear communication with an emphasis on maintaining the relationships.
